2014 School Production

The time has almost come for 50 excited students (and staff members!) to move from rehearsals at the school hall to the professional George Jenkins Theatre for our 2014 production of ‘Seussical’.

‘Seussical’ follows the story of Horton the Elephant (from the beloved story ‘Horton Hears a Who’) who must prove to everyone that there is in fact a tiny town living on a clover which he must protect. Throughout the journey he comes across Jojo, the tiny Thinker on Who, who is sent to military school for thinking too much; Gertrude McFuzz, his neighbour who harbours special feelings for the bumbling elephant; Mayzie La Bird, who takes advantage of Horton’s kindness and lumps him with her unwanted egg; the Sour Kangaroo whose aim is to prove to all that Horton is crazy, and many more!

Students involved in this show have worked tirelessly for the past five months to present a show which is fun, entertaining, colourful and exciting for Dr Seuss lovers of all ages! They would love you to see all their hard work come to fruition.

Show times are THURSDAY, 22 MAY at 7pm, FRIDAY, 23 MAY at 7pm, SATURDAY, 24 MAY at 7pm, as well as our special KID’S MATINEE SHOW (where we will have entertainment in the foyer pre-show such as balloon animals, face painting and a photo booth) from 1pm onwards (show begins at 2pm).
