Students made a Worry Doll inspired by the storybook “Silly Billy-  Anthony Browne”

They used Posca Pens to colour in our paper doll, then decorated with sequins and buttons. 

Grade 3/4s

Inspired by Sandra Silberzweig’s “Selfies”, students created their own self-portraits. Students explored using warm/cold tones, blending colours to create gradient and geometrical shapes.    

Grade 1/2s

Inspired by the book “What I Like About Me Written by Allia Zobel-Nola”, students recreated themselves with yarns for their hair then decorated with pom-poms, buttons and sequins.

Grade 5/6s

Inspired by Picasso’s blue period self-portraits. Students have created self-portraits using monochromatic colours.

They practised drawing the proportion of the human face and how to use colour pencils to add shadings.
