Tech Week

The Literacy Society presents: Tech Week 2023 where “we own the future”. 

In Week 4 of Term 2, Mount Alvernia students will get hands on with the latest and greatest gizmos, talk to tech giants, make wearable tech, and much more.

Double Booked 

Parents/Carers and Students are invited to participate in a combined book club called Double Booked. The club will meet once each term and a set book, chosen by the iCentre team will be discussed at each meeting. Meetings will be facilitated by Helen Stower (Head of Library and Digital Services) and held in the iCentre from 6.00 pm – 7.00 pm. 

The 2023 dates are: Wednesday 10 May, Wednesday 19 July, and Wednesday 11 October. Places will be limited to for this book club and will be offered on a first-in basis. Please email stowh@staff.mta.qld.edu.au by Wednesday 29 March to express an interest in attending the club.
