This is the last week of elective sports choices for Year 3-6. Please make sure if your child has any outstanding IOU’s from the last 5 weeks, that they are paid by Friday.

Year 1/2 Sport – Term 3
This is the last week of King Fit for 1/2M and 1/2W. Please make sure if your child has any outstanding IOU’s from the last 4 weeks, that they are paid by Friday.
Year 1 Swimming
Next term, as part of the Year 1 Physical Education program, we are taking all Year 1 children to the Town Pool to develop water confidence, stroke development and participate in water activities. Students will be grouped according to their ability. They will go to the pool by bus each Thursday starting 26 October, for 6 weeks. Permission notes and further information will go home early next term.
Primary Diocesan Touch Carnival
Children from Year 3-6 who nominated last week to represent Holy Trinity at the 2017 Diocesan Touch Carnival in Inverell on Friday 27 October have been placed into teams and will receive notes this week. These games will be held at the Inverell Sports Complex. This is an open Primary Touch Carnival so all students will be competing against 9, 10, 11 & 12 year olds. Students will need to get their own way to the Complex. The day will conclude at approximately 2:30pm where students will be transported back to school by bus. Cost for the day is $5. Students should bring hat, water and a healthy lunch. A canteen will be operating on the day. Students should be in full school sports uniform – no Diocesan clothing is to be worn. Notes and money must be returned to school by Friday, 13 October.
Sapphire City River Run
The annual Sapphire City Run will be held on Sunday, 8 October. You can walk, run or jog. Distances are 9.2km, 4.6km and 2.5km. Registration is from 7:30am at Campbell Park. To enter go online to @trybooking.com School Holiday Rugby League Clinic
PSM in conjunction with Inverell council will be conducting a rugby league clinic in Inverell on Thursday 5 October for 6 – 17 year olds. This is a great way to finish off the season and freshen up old skills and learn new ones, while making new friends at the PSM Rugby League Camps. Pacific Sports Management have developed a holiday camp for young athletes! Former Penrith, NSW and Rugby League player and now assistant coach at Manly Sea Eagles, John Cartwright has designed a program to be delivered.
