AFL Lightning Carnival

Our football teams finished Term 2 with the Lightning Carnival at Woodville Oval.

The Year 4/5 team competed well in all four games losing two of their games by a kick. Well done to Shane and the team for their effort.

The Year 6/7 team started off strongly winning three games out of 4. As a result, they participated in the Grand Final against an undefeated West Lakes Shore. The team started strongly kicking the first 3 goals and held on well to win by 16 points. Well done to Dave, Stuart and the team on the way they played on the day.

SAPSASA Basketball Championships

On Wednesday 25th July, both girls and boys participated in a basketball tournament. All students played in the right spirit and represented Grange Primary School extremely well.

The girls won 4 games out of 6, whilst the boys were undefeted and will now participate in the State Championships to be held in September.

Thank you to Dean Levitt for volunteering his time to coach the girls team. Also a big thank you to all the parents on the who supported on the day.

Thank you,

John Mastropaolo.
