From the Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers, Konnichiwa!

Welcome to Term 3

Thank you everyone for your warm welcome back to Grange following my long service leave. We had a fabulous time in Italy and the Greek Islands and are adjusting back to the cold weather here in Adelaide. Welcome to our 11 new students and their families that started at Grange for the first time this week.

Can I also welcome Sarah Loielo who is teaching a year 3 class in room 15 for the remainder of the year while Margaret Henry is on long service leave. Sarah is a great teacher and joins us from Burton Primary School.

STEM works completion

The STEM facilities work has now been completed and most of the furniture that was part of this project has arrived. With the $1,000,000 of State funding and $114,000 of school funds we were able to achieve much across the entire school enabling more flexible and contemporary learning environments that make a real difference for each and every student, their learning and engagement.

Congratulations to teachers and support staff in the great job they have done in styling and co-constructing the learning environments with their students. They look absolutely fantastic and more importantly are working very well to most effectively support students in their learning.

Later this year the Minister for Education will officially open these facilities here at Grange. I will let you know when this date has been arranged.

Regards, Grant
