Book Week (Week 6)

Each year across Australia, the Children’s Book Council of Australia brings children and books together through the celebration of Book Week. 

Book Week will run from the 19th - 23rd of August (Week 6). The theme this year is Reading Is My Secret Power. You can find out about the shortlisted books by visiting the CBCA’s website. 

The Book Week Parade will be held on Monday the 19th of August. We invite students to come to school dressed up as a character or object from their favourite book. Students are also invited to bring their book along and carry it in the parade.
