               LEUNIG – A SPRING PRAYER

Dear God,

We rejoice and give thanks 

for earthworms, bees, 

ladybirds and broody hens; 

for humans tending their gardens, 

talking to animals, 

cleaning their homes 

and singing to themselves; 

for the rising of the sap, 

the fragrance of growth, 

the invention of the wheelbarrow, 

we give thanks.

We celebrate and give thanks.

Sacramental Program Dates 2020

Thank you to all families involved in our Sacramental Program in 2019. Last Friday's Confirmation was a prayerful celebration to conclude the programs across 2019. Families with Sacramental journals at home are invited to return them to school over the coming weeks. Father Albert has been extremely happy with families commitment with attending mass to allow students to be more comfortable and knowledgeable about the mass leading up to each sacrament.

The dates below are proposed for 2020 and are our preferred dates which may change but going on this year's experience they are most likely to stay as is. If you have any questions please see me at school or email pmcdowell@olscwyn.catholic.edu.au

Wednesday, March 18th @ 6.00pm

Eucharist Family meeting, May 27th @6.30pm - St. Andrew's Church

Sacrament of Eucharist - May 31st @ 1.00pm and 3.00pm (if 2 masses needed based on numbers)

Sacrament of Confirmation - Friday, 28th August @ 6.30pm

Winter Appeal - Crazy Socktember

Thank you to all families who have contributed to our Appeal. Our last event for our winter appeal has been our crazy sock day - a fun way to brighten up a Friday as we enter the first week of Spring. We raised $300 which is being sent to St. Vincent de Paul in our parish.
