Principal's Report

“Participation, I think, is one of the best methods of   educating.” -Tom Glazer

We want all of our students to participate in their learning as well as the plethora of activities that are on offer at the college.  We have auditions for our first ever variety show.  I want to encourage all students to share their talent for the Variety Show Term 4.  We want to see participation across all Houses at high levels for Athletics Day on Thursday.  Our expectation is that all students and parents attend the Innovate Expo Night and Inaugural Art Show on Thursday September 12th from 5pm to 7pm.  Parents will actively participate in the night by investing Beaumaris “dollars” in students innovations and designs.  I look forward to seeing you all there.

Staffing Update

Sarah Keating will be acting Assistant Principal while Deb Kirk is on leave for the rest of this term.  Liam Walsh will be stepping into Sarah’s leading teacher role.

Teacher recruitment for 2020 is still happening and we are halfway through the process.  We will be excited to introduce our new team members next term.
