Technology 2019

As we begin the 2019 school year, it is a great time to think about how you use technology at home. At school we will be teaching your child/ren about cyber safety, their rights and responsibilities when using digital technologies and explaining the eSmart Student Acceptable Use Agreement.

Thank you to the parents who attended the information nights over the last two weeks and have signed the Agreement. For those who have not signed and returned the Agreement, please do so as soon as possible so that your child may use technology devices at school.

Something to think about...

Social Media - what is it?

Technically, the minimum age for opening a Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, or Snapchat account is 13, while Kik users under 17 need parental permission. And it is even older for Vine, Tinder, Yik Yak and YouTube.
