ISQua CEO Update

Looking Forward

It is hard to believe that I am coming up on my third ISQua Conference as CEO of ISQua.

Each conference offers something different; London in 2017 showed how patients are moving to the forefront of health systems, ensuring that the voice of the patient is heard at every level of the system. This focus on the patient is driven by a desire to improve the quality of care as the two are inevitably linked.

These lessons and viewpoints were brought together in our 2017 conference report 'Improving Quality Through a Better Patient Experience and Patient-Centred Care' which I would recommend all of you read.

In Kuala Lumpur, we will be highlighting the importance of engaging heads (governance, leadership, innovation), hearts (learning & sharing, quality & safety for the vulnerable), and hands (patient safety), to bring about further change in quality improvement and patient safety.

I am greatly looking forward to meeting and networking with friends and colleagues in Kuala Lumpur, to hear our excellent speakers and learn something new, and to take in some of the sights (and tastes!) of Malaysia. I hope you can join me.

If you are unable to attend the conference you can instead catch-up on live-stream, on our newly re-designed website. We are delighted to announce that we will be launching our new website on 14th September.

As an ISQua Member, you will have complete access to all of the websites new features, including your own ISQua profile, connect through our ISQua Community, easily access our full catalogue of past ISQua conference talks and presentations, and much more. You will an email in the coming days with further information and your new log in details.

I sincerely hope that you enjoy using the new website and find it easy to use. As always, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time with any comments or suggestions regarding your membership experience.
