Year 7 Girls Netball 

On Wednesday the 2nd May, 14 enthusiastic Year 7 girls, competed in the Interschool Netball Competition.

The girls demonstrated some outstanding netball skills as well as solid teamwork to easily win one  of their games, and lose their second by only one point. The girls made it through for a play-off for 3rd place, and were able to secure the victory! Congratulations to all the girls who competed!

YEAR 9/10 BADMINTON

On Friday 4th May a huge 29 students represented Healesville in six teams for Badminton. The competition was fierce the whole day and it was fantastic to see our students try their very best at all times and have their skills improve as the competition progressed.

A lot of badminton was played including both singles and doubles matches. Students also had the opportunity to score and umpire. Our girls ‘A Team’ consisting of Carmen Hauptmann, Mone Ishikawa, Estelle Peterson, Eden Minney and Mia Langford played outstandingly to make it through to the Grand Final undefeated! Unfortunately despite some strong efforts, they were unable to get the win, however were very happy with 2nd place against some strong competition.
