2019 Japan Trip

Expression of Interest

Discussions and planning for a trip in 2019 to Japan and a homestay visit to our sister school, Nakamura Senior High School, are now underway.

It is proposed that the ‘Japan Trip 2019’ will be approximately 17 days in duration and during that time, students will stay both with a host family and at hotels or traditional inns. The suggested itinerary at this stage will include visiting the Peace Park in Hiroshima, World Heritage sites at Miyajima, Kyoto, Nara and Tokyo, and other culturally interesting place like Shibuya, Harajuku, Akihabara and Disneyland! The dates proposed are:

Depart:  Thursday 12 September (evening flight)

Return:  Saturday 28 September (morning arrival)

If you, as parents and students, are interested in finding out more about the Japan Tour 2019 (the students involved will be studying Japanese in Years 10 or 11 in 2019), please send an email with subject “Expression of Interest – Japan Tour 2019” to Mrs Petra Witt  - witt.petra.p@edumail.vic.gov.au.

This expression of interest does not mean a final commitment, but will help identify the numbers of students wanting to be involved so that the costing for the tour can be made.
