Past students

Some wonderful past MGSC Media students returned to the classroom last week to help the current Year 12 class with important changes to the 2018-22 study design.

‘Feedback and reflection’ is a new inclusion to the SAT criteria for Media at Year 12. The alumni ranged from the graduating classes of 2013 through to 2017. Having completed VCE Media, combined with their expertise studying and working in Media they gave much needed feedback on the state of the girls’ production work.

A huge thank you to Carina Florea (2013), Ashli Celik, Kidist Williams (2015), Shanon McKenzie, Charlotte Byrne, Bec Marquis (2016) and Lauren Bisignano (2017).

The media students will use this formal written feedback to make amendments and/ or consider the final direction of their photography, film and print work in the weeks leading up their due date.

The Year 12 class also greatly appreciated hearing what the former students were doing now, which ranged from marketing to visual effects design.
