SCHOOL COUNCIL ELECTIONS - 2021
Dear Parents,
We now invite you to participate in the process of School Council Elections 2021. Parents participating on school council provide important viewpoints and have valuable skills that help shape the future directions of the school.
The following Parent Members have completed their membership and therefore four 2 year positions are now declared advertised;

Verity Walker
I would like to thank these parents for their valuable contribution to Carnegie Primary School and for their work on School Council. These parents with children still at our school are eligible and of course welcome to participate on School Council once again by following the usual nomination process.
The following Teacher Members have completed their membership and therefore three 2 year position re now declared open;

If you are interested in becoming a School Council Member, but are unsure of what the position entails, then please see any School Council Member, Karen Bentata-Grimm or myself.

Tuesday 16th February Call for Nominations
Tuesday 2nd March Nominations Close at 4.00pm.
Wednesday 3rd March Display list of candidates
** If required **
Friday 5th March Distribute ballot papers
Friday 12th March Close of ballot 4.00pm.
Monday 15th March Count votes and declare the poll
Wednesday 17th March New School Council – AGM @ 7pm
** If the exact number of nominations is submitted for the exact number of positions then no ballot is held. **

Notice of Election and Call for Nominations
An election is to be conducted for members of the school council of Carnegie Primary School.
Nomination forms may be obtained from the school and must be lodged by 4.00pm, Tuesday 2nd March, 2021.
The terms of office, membership categories and number of positions in each membership category open for election are as follows –
