Climate for Learning
This term, the Student Representative Council opened up a meeting to the wider student body, inviting non-members to participate in discussion and to submit suggestions for programs and improvements across the school.
The event was both animated and constructive : the information gathered will inform SRC decisions and promotions going forward this year.
The open meeting was a great initiative - generating student participation and interest - and in turn encouraging all students to share their ideas, concerns and to exercise their individual Student Voice. Well done and thanks to all those who contributed!

Year 8
I attended the first public SRC meeting this term.
I am not a member of the SRC myself, however two of my friends are and they suggested the idea, so I decided to go along.
I thoroughly enjoyed participating. It was interesting to hear what people from Year 7 to to Year 12 had to say about improvements for the school. It was engaging, and everyone had a voice in the discussion. I would highly recommend coming along to the next public meeting as it’s a good way for your voice to be heard and it’s a fun opportunity to meet new people. It was a wonderful experience, and I can’t wait for the next one to come!
