Welcome to Term 1

Dear Parents,

Welcome to the 2021 school year! As part of your child’s transition into Foundation there will be no school for the first 3 Wednesdays. These days have been allocated for individual testing to take place. You are required to bring your child to school for a 30 minute block on one of these Wednesdays. 

During this block of time your child will participate in Numeracy/Literacy testing in their classroom with their teacher. We do ask that you arrive a few minutes early for your appointment as we will need the full 30 minutes for every child.

More information in regards to the general running of the classroom and curriculum taught will be presented at the Foundation Information Night on Tuesday 9th February at 7:00pm. 

Blue Folders - You will have noticed that your child has a blue folder with their name on it. All communication between the home and school will need to be placed in this folder and brought back to school each day. We ask that this folder is brought into the classroom every morning and placed in the ‘Blue Folder’ tub in our classroom.

Yellow Folders will soon follow with the M100W (Magic 100 Words) list for students.
