Getting Back Together - Alumni Reunions

Tim Dehn - Community Relations Manager

There was more than fruit platters served at both the reunions we've held so far this year - first for the Class of 2003 (Beulah McCulloch pictured above with two of our alumni at that reunion) in May, and then for the Class of 2018 just a couple of weeks ago.

Both events were well-attended, with around half the year level present, and the noise and reluctance to leave tell their own story. "How fantastic to reconnect and see how the school has grown," was a near-universal comment. And that's why we do them - as well as inviting continued prayer for the school and all it represents.

Perhaps that's really the most important thing - if you've been to a reunion, you'll know that we give away Donvale Christian College pens, but with a condition attached. "Whenever you use a Donvale pen, will you pray, however briefly, for the school - its leaders, its staff, its students, its parents. We covet your prayers," I say in my welcoming comments.

Recognise any of these faces from 2003?

Or these from 2018?

There are two more reunions in the diary for this year: Class of 2013 (10 years) on 21 October; and Class of 1993 (30 years) on 11 November.
