Still Building!

Back in December last year we shared a vision for a new Senior Secondary centre, being built where the old gym used to be. You could be forgiven for thinking that Donvale is really just an ongoing construction site, but with the increase in student numbers which we've seen in the last few years, and the aging of all those portables, new building is inevitable.

So here's a video showing progress on this project over the last few months, still slated for completion early next year. Sound ON if you like Wagner ... sound OFF you don't like Wagner. 

Like most schools, Donvale has a tax-deductible building fund to support investment in the construction of new facilities.

We've made a promise not to ask you for money if you're within 10 years of graduating from Donvale ... so, if you've left school more recently than 2013 - ignore this page! Go on, off you go ... 

However, if you graduated from Donvale before 2013 - read on.

With a healthy building fund we can invest confidently, not just for today's students - critical though that is - but for future generations of students.

The Senior Secondary Centre is certainly a large project - with a large purpose. Its design is environmentally sensitive and uses sustainable materials where possible. Its spaces foster curious learning, community connection, critical thinking and spiritual understanding of our place in tomorrow's world. Take a look at the video below.

It's a place where we will continue to prepare students to fulfill their calling to act justly, love kindness and walk humbly with God.
