RED CROSS PILLOWCASE PROGRAM

Last week students in Yr 3-6 participated in the Pillowcase Program organised by the Australia Red Cross. This program emergency preparedness education to primary school students to help them understand the importance of being prepared in an emergency, to prepare their minds for the thoughts and feelings that may arise during and after an emergency and know what to pack in an emergency kit.

Each student received a pillowcase to build their own personal emergency kit. Please talk with them about what they learnt and help them to build their kit at home.
