It's Official!

We have been waiting and promoting and now...it's finally here! We are delighted to announce the official launch of our Miners Rest Primary School & Kindergarten Facebook Page. Check out the amazing work of some very passionate parents wanting to share our beautiful kindergarten and school. We look forward to sharing information, events and lots more with our school community.

Semester Reports

You will receive your child's Semester One report tomorrow. Teaching staff have committed significant time to assessing and determining learning progress, strengths and next steps in learning for Term Three. Please take the time to discuss your child's report and self-reflection with them and celebrate their successes.

It is significantly important to us, that our reporting process caters for the needs of our families. To ensure that our report format, comments level of information match the needs of our parent community, we are providing a survey to families to gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of our current reporting process. I strongly encourage you to  take the time to provide feedback to us so that we can improve our future reporting process.

Staffing

I am delighted to share with our school community that Matt Smith, nominated supervisor of our Kindergarten and the leader of Assessment & Reporting has been successful in the Acting Principal position at Ararat North Primary School for Term Three. We wish Matt all the very best with this fantastic leadership opportunity.

Happy Holidays

It has been a short, but very busy term and as we run to the finish line I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our families for the great support they has been provided to our students and staff during Term Two. I wish you all a very happy, relaxing and safe holiday break and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school next term.
