Interschool Sport

Year 7 Badminton & Soccer

Thursday 29 June was acold and very windy day, our Year 7 students  braved the elements to compete in the Interschool Soccer and Badminton Round Robin.

The students displayed mature sportsperson ship, tried their best, and had fun.

Although we did not come away with the overall win, our students were active, engaged and actively running around .

They got to hone their skills and enjoy being part of a supportive team.

Year 11 & 12 Senior Basketball

On Friday 16 June, a determined group of Year 11 and 12 girls and boys headed off to interschool senior basketball, at the Dandenong Basketball Stadium.

The senior boys team had their numbers cut to just four players before the first tip-off (with an injury to a player the night before!), but they played enthusiastically against well-drilled sport academy teams, and battled very competitively against schools with similar profiles.

As for the senior girls, they faced the same scenario, and whilst they led several matches at different stages, they did not quite manage to squeak through to the finals. Well done to all players that represented our College, and for some students it was their final swansong to interschool sport! Wishing the best to all students, as they continue down their senior pathways and into their bright futures on the horizon.
