Carpark Entrance Redirection – Middle Week of Holidays

During the middle week of the school holidays (beginning Monday 10/July), we have some storm water repairs being performed at the entrance to our school/church car park on Montague road. While this work is undertaken, the entrance will be clearly closed to all traffic (using cones and bollards). The exit gate to Hillary Crescent can be used for entry and exit of the car park during this period. Please use care and travel slowly through the car park while anticipating the possibility of 2-way traffic.

Reports

Reports have gone home today via envelope. We are aware that some families require a copy and we are in the process of sending these out via mail.

Please take the time to read your child's report and encourage them in their growth and development.

Thank you to our teachers for the time and effort they have put into writing these reports.

Imagination OSHC – Deborah Grove Access

Step Up to Communion

Young people aged around 10 years, together with their parents/caregivers, are invited to take part in our Step Up program to prepare for Holy Communion. This course will be offered next term over 4 consecutive Friday nights (August 11, 18, 25 and September 1) with a Sunday communion service to follow. If you are interested, please contact Georgie by Friday 4 August.

Growing Faith at Home

Dear School Families,

Today’s GFH title is ‘Welcoming Others’. I’m sure that you have appreciated times in your life where you have been welcomed by someone. It can have a powerful and lasting impact.

This week’s resource provides some suggestions to talk over with your family…  What does it mean to welcome someone? Share a time when you needed some help and someone was kind to you.

How have you been going with your highs and lows? I’d love to hear when you talk about them with your family.

Please let me know, either by email or catching me face to face!

God bless you all as you enjoy some time away from school routine.

Blessings,

Georgie
