Year 7/8 News

Year 7 News

This term has been jam-packed with fun activities for the Year 7’s. Students have planned and organised 10 minute Home Group assemblies in L4S, which take place every second Friday. These assemblies are run by students entirely by themselves! Each assembly keeps students up to date with whole school announcements, the latest news, as well as fun national days for us to celebrate. In the most recent assembly, [ 7G’s Assembly ], we were introduced to National Book day. 7G then gifted every single student a book! Approximately there were 400 books gifted. Another exciting event which had occurred recently was the Year 7 excursion to the Healesville Sanctuary. Students went to the reserve in order to complete a part of their Term 3 Science CAT. Healesville gave students the opportunity to learn while having fun. Term 3 has been exciting for the Year 7’s.
