Encouraging Good Hygiene

With the weather starting to cool off a little, as Autumn begins,  colds and flu become more widespread. With the added threat of the COVID-19 virus this year, we are encouraging good hygiene practices for the College Community. We are promoting regular hand washing and Hygiene stations have been set up for visitors to the College. Please encourage your children with good hygiene practices and if they are unwell we ask you keep them home.

Emails from the College

We have become aware that emails sent from the College to addresses with the extention of '@live' and 'hotmail' are ending up in 'Junk Mail'. We regularly communicate with families via email. If you are not receiving regular emails from the College (and not just the Sneak Peek), the first step is to check your 'Junk Mail' to ensure your email filter is not placing them in junk. If you still have no emails from us, please call the College so we can help rectify the issue.

Meet Harvin

Harvin is a new addition to TCC, and is assisting students with their Community and Family Studies. He is being cared for by our lovely senior students and can be as demanding as any new baby. Just before this photo was taken Harvin had been changed and Jasmine said  " He has been crying for an hour".

Taree Christian College Community Health Audit

This year we will undertake our third survey so we can continue to serve and improve on what we already do. A link to the survey will be sent to families next Monday 16th March, with a closing date at the end of Term 1 being 9th April 2020. We hope you will take the time to complete the survey so we may serve you and your children better.

Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge

In the ISC, Primary classes will be participating in this international student challenge next week. The Bebras Challenge is run by the CSIRO. Its goal is to promote computational thinking. Please return notes by Friday so your child may participate.

Our Canteen staff are encouraging students with their good hygiene habits and to have clean hands before coming to the canteen and eating. Helping to keep our favourite little (and big) people healthy.

If you have any questions, as always please call us at the College on 6539 0100 or for help with flexischools 1300 361 769.
