Team Work!

It may have been over a month ago now, but anyone who knows me is very aware that I am still floating on cloud nine after a Richmond premiership win! To have been present on the big day with family (some supporting GWS!) and friends was an experience I will never forget. One of the best memories for me will be just after the final siren when all Richmond players (including VFL) streamed jubilantly onto the ground with their Richmond jerseys over their suits. The message was clear – it takes more than the 18 players on the ground to achieve success – everyone has a role to play.

This is true for every aspect of our lives. Our success throughout our schooling life is about more than just our personal efforts (although that is very important). The support we receive from family, our teachers, mentors, community groups, friends (the list goes on) is vital – we can’t do it alone.

VCE students tackling exams are very aware of this dynamic presently – as are our students preparing to enter their first year of high school. These transitions and testing times can be challenging – but there is support if required. Keep in mind that we are all better together – that everyone has a role and great strength comes when we reach out and get help when we are struggling. Here are some snaps showing that life is sweeter when we work together!
