A message from our Principal

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to Term 4. I hope you had an enjoyable break with your family over the past two weeks. We have had a very smooth start to Term 4 and all children and staff seem very happy to be back.

We have welcomed back to our school Mrs Tanya Gray who will be working with Stage 3 this term and Mrs Angie Lee who will recommence her role as the Assistant Principal Support. Welcome back to both of these valued staff members.

Next week we celebrate Book Week. Due to COVID restrictions, many of the activities we normally run during this week cannot occur. We will still be having our 'dress up' day which will occur on Friday 23rd October. Even though we will not have a parade, all children K-6 are encouraged to dress up. The theme for this weeks book week is 'Curious Creatures, Wild Minds'. We look forward to seeing everyone dress up next Friday.

COVID - 19 Update

In line with health advice, schools are continuing to operate full time, with many additional activities having now recommenced.

Things that remain the same or have been permitted:

  • Parents/carers and other non-essential visitors are not allowed on the school site.
  • School Photos & Scripture can take place.
  • Students are to bring water bottles to school for use, as bubblers have been turned off or used for filling bottles only.
  • School Library is open.

  • Kindergarten Orientation into 2021 can occur with restrictions in place from Monday 26th October.

No Hat Play in the Shade

A reminder to families that all students must wear their school hat when playing outside for Term 4. If your child requires a hat, they are available from the front office for $8. If children do not wear their hat, they have to play in a shaded area.

We are very excited to announce that later this term we will welcome our 2021 Kindergarten students for their transition sessions. The program is invaluable in ensuring the children are feeling happy and confident about commencing school next year. The sessions will be held over a 4 week period from Monday 2nd November to Friday 27th November.
