Behaviour Focus
At Dundas Public School, we have a fortnightly behaviour focus based on the three core values of being a Safe, Respectful and Successful Learner. Each behaviour focus is discussed, and lessons taught in all classrooms each week.
The behaviour focus for Weeks 5 and 6 is ‘We follow the rules of each area to stay safe'. During our wellbeing and expectations lessons in Week 5 and 6 we will be teaching and reminding students of the rules and expectations of our different playground zones. We encourage you to talk to your child at home about playing safely in the playground and to remind them that the teachers on duty is there to help, they wear the bright orange vest.

Wellbeing at Dundas PS
The Wellbeing Framework supports schools to create safe, supportive learning environments. At Dundas PS, our processes and practices align with this framework, enabling all students to connect, succeed and thrive. Pivotal documents to support the wellbeing of our students, are:
DPS Values and Expectations Matrix - a set of behavioural expectations, for all settings within the school, underpinned by our school values of being a Safe, Respectful, and Successful Learner.
DPS Awards Tree - outlines our systems to acknowledge and celebrate the positive behaviours demonstrated by our students.
