Persuasive Learning

1/2H are exploring persuasive arguments this term.  Students were asked to use their persuasive skills to convince Mrs Hambley that their toy was the best. 

Mrs Hambley was very proud of the whole class.  Next we reflected on how we presented.  

In literacy we explored the possibility that the “Big Bad Wolf was innocent”.  We read two accounts of what happened.  After listening to both sides of the story 23 out of 25 students were persuaded that the wolf was innocent.  In fact the wolf had just sneezed and accidentally blown down the pigs’ houses.  Next we jointly constructed two wanted posters that explored the wolf and the three little pigs crimes.
