COMPASS COMMUNICATIONS CHANGE OF PROCESS

In response to feedback that we have received, we will trial a new communications process through Compass beginning next Monday 9 November. 

We will now only send one communication daily (as required) at approximately 3pm which may include a number of different topics. 

We ask that you take the time to read through these messages as we will not send daily reminders with a specific title or topic as we have done,  in order to reduce the number of messages that you receive.

  • commencing Monday 9 November

  • communication will cover any information you need to know
  • please keep up to date by reading these communications

UNIFORMS

 Are your uniforms hanging up feeling underused? Outgrown garments during lockdown? 

 

Help save the environment, save money and raise money for the school by donating your uniforms to the F&F School Uniform Shop.

 

Get any old uniforms ready by having them laundered, name tags removed and on hangers or neatly folded. Please store them for now as we await news of when items can be collected. 

 

Uniforms will be offered for sale at the Secondhand School Uniform Shop (which will be on site at school towards the end of January). More details and date to come.

 

Please register your interest to buy or sell by filling out this form. Avoid missing out on the sizes you want by having the QKR payment system set up on your device. Only contactless payments can be accepted. Some sizes will be in hot demand and it will be first in, best dressed :)

 

If you wish to sell your uniforms directly to other parents where you can determine price and organise dispatch feel free to log into https://www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au. Please note this website is independent of SMPPS or the F&F group, it is a private platform. Sign up and choose SMPPS as your school to see items for sale and list items for sale (cost is $1.50 to list an item).

2021 PARENT PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS SCHEDULE     (formerly the School Account)

Next week, the 2021 Parent Payment Arrangements schedule ( formerly the School Account) will be sent out to families via Compass. The schedule will look different from previous years in format, as all Government schools follow the DET template. We ask that you take time to look over the document carefully as there are different amounts to pay for each year level  and it will detail your payment options . You will also see that there are set days for collection of Student Stationery packs. Each child will need these Stationery items to use in the classroom to complete their work. Payments will open in January via Compass - further information on this process will be communicated to you through Compass next week.

2021 ENROLMENTS

SCHOOL HATS

Just a reminder that all students need to be wearing their school hat when outdoors at school. Please label your child’s hat clearly with their name as they regularly go missing.
