Art Room News

Hello RHPS Artists,

The art room is filled to the brim with CLAY!!! The skills and creativity displayed over the past few weeks have been amazing.

Clay is a wonderful medium to create with and brings a lot of joy and imagination into the art room. All of our wonderful clay pieces will be displayed for the students this year in the library in week 9. This allows for the students to take pride in their artwork and share it with their friends and teachers. Hopefully next year we can have our whole school art show back better than ever.

As we are not having our usual art show this year, many pieces of art will slowly be coming home for you to enjoy. We hope you enjoy seeing our work, just as much as we have in making it.

This term a few classes have had the opportunity to participate in some STEAM sessions and we have been learning to use the school robots and making our very own Art Bots. These sessions have been a lot of fun and the teamwork, thinking and creating has been amazing.

These are some of our Art Bot artworks. It was wonderful to see our creations moving around and making one of a kind art.

Congratulations to our Art and Environmental Captains, they finally have their awards and prizes and their hands on the trophy for winning the Mooroolbark Festival Recycling Competition.

Have a wonderful week.

Keep Creating,

Mrs. Granger
