Level 1/2 News

As we are fast approaching the end of the year our Level 1/2 Students are busily completing final assessments and Portfolio pieces. In particular they have enjoyed creating their Robot Box Buddy for Inquiry. Their creativity and imagination was on full display as they turned cardboard boxes, tissue boxes, foil, milk bottle lids and so much more into Robots – many with moveable parts.

They are also enjoying their Author Study, having chosen an author of interest to research. Aaron Blabey, Nick Bland, Dr Seuss, Anh Do have been popular choices. Students are learning about the author and immersing themselves in their books. We have many avid readers in 1/2!

We would like to thank Miss Minton for setting up Gymnastics in the gym. It has certainly been well used and liked by our students.

It is certainly going to be a super busy end of the year, please look out for more information about the Virtual Christmas Carols, Whole School Sports Day,  class parties, Kris Kringles and the like…it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Level 3/4 News

The Level 3/4 students are busily preparing for the end of a very strange year. They are completing assessments and Learning Tasks for their Portfolios. They are practising their Christmas Carols and preparing for Christmas craft activities. It is wonderful to see that the students have been able to settle back into a school routine and they should be congratulated for completing a very challenging year of learning.

Soon they will be meeting their new classmates and teachers for 2021 and we know that they are ready for their next stage of learning. They have shown resilience and flexibility and we only wish we were able to spend more one on one time with our fabulous grades. Well done 3/4A, 3/4M, 3/4P and 3/4S, you have all done an awesome job! Please enjoy this gallery of our students completing angles work and enjoying the Gymnastics activities organised by Miss. Minton

Here's looking forward to a busy couple of weeks!

Best wishes - The Level 3/4 Team
