Athletics Carnival

Firstly, I would like to congratulate all of our participants on our annual Athletics Carnival. It was a HUGE success!  Even though parents couldn't attend, the teachers took plenty of photos.  Check out the Sports' section of our Newsletter! It was fantastic that we were able to still have our sports carnival and I'm sure the rest of the students would agree, we had a great time.  Thank you to Mrs Wilson, Mrs Bartholomew and all of the staff for organising this for us!

Book Fair

This Thursday we will be holding our annual school book fair.  Students are encouraged to attend school in their Jungle themed costumes.  These costumes need to be suitable to be worn all day.  This year, students are also working on creating book marks, for our Book Mark Design Competition.  These will need to be handed in by Wednesday for judging. The winners of this competition will win a prize, and as an extra bonus the book marks will be given out as a reward for students who receive Student of the Week Awards from this week until the end of Term.  Good luck!!

Even Better If:

This fortnight we need to work on:

  • keeping our toilets tidy and clean.

These facilities are only new, and should be looked after by all students. Please let your teacher know if you see anyone doing the wrong thing in these spaces.

What Worked Well:

  • Thank you to Mrs Meade, Maddox, Lachlan, Makenzie and Jack W for their work on tidying the sports' shed.  This will allow for a good spring clean of old equipment soon!
  • Handball games between all grades have been played fairly
  • Our fantastic Athletics Carnival
