Students of the Week

Congratulations to the following students who were awarded Student of the Week this week and last week.  

 

*Prep AKaylee H - You have been really working hard in class and it has been great to see you improve with your reading, writing and maths.  You have been a good friend to others and a super helper in class.  Excellent effort Kaylee.  

Ava K-S -  Well done Ava for all your great efforts this Term.  It has been wonderful how hard you have been trying to do your work.  You always try your best and you are a friendly classmate to all the Preps.  You are a super star.

 

*Prep B -  Ruby B - You are doing such a great job with your learning Ruby.  It has been wonderful to see you become a confident reader and writer.  Keep up the awesome work Ruby.

Brady B -  It is so good to see the effort that you are putting into your learning in the classroom.  Keep trying hard and it is great to see you being a kind classmate to others.

 

*1/2A - Mohamed S - for a great start to ETRS.  Mohamed has settled in well in 1/2A and is becoming more familiar with classroom routines.  Well done Mohamed and welcome to ETRS.

Charli N - for amazing reading.  Charli reads every night and reads fluently and expressively.  Charli has read 250 nights this year.  Well done, keep up the fantastic effort!

 

*1/2B - Aroha N- You have such a positive attitude in the classroom and give everything 100%. You always try your best and persist with your work. Keep up the fantastic work. Well done Aroha.

 Izaak M-W-For your positivity in the classroom and your kindness towards others. It has also been great to see you making an effort to get your work fully completed this week. Keep up the great work. Well done Izaak.

 

*1/2CJosie P - You have jumped back into your learning this term with such enthusiasm and dedication and are zooming along in all areas. You have quickly demonstrated your understanding of division this week by being able to represent practical situations that model equal sharing, as well as, recognising whether there is a remainder or not after sharing equally. I am also very impressed by the way you articulate clearly the various strategies that you use to solve problems mathematically. Keep up your terrific works Josie. I am very proud of you!

Rhianne G - Rhianne, it is great to see you enjoying life back in the classroom this term and moving along with your learning. I have enjoyed seeing you engaged with your reading both independently and when you read in the classroom library with your friends. It is great to see you give everything a ‘Red Hot Go’ and I love it when I see you smiling and enjoying yourself in our classroom. Keep shining bright. I am so proud of you.

 

*3/4A - Chayse W - Well done Chayse on a terrific week at school. You are always helpful and polite and have worked hard in each lesson and showed us exactly what a great student you are. Keep it going.

Mia S - Well done Mia on a terrific week at school. You always show the school values of Respect, Academic Excellence and Responsibility each day. Keep it going.

 

*3/4B -  Jett A -  for a great start at Twin Rivers. Jett it has been wonderful to see you settle in to your new school with confidence. Keep up the great work this term!

 Mitch C -  for a great start back at school. Mitch it has been wonderful to see the effort you have put into writing since our return from Remote Learning. Your joint handwriting is also coming along nicely. Keep up the great work this term!

 

 

*3/4C -   Alexis T  - Alexis, it has been excellent to see you fully engaged with our poetry unit.

You are carefully thinking about the way you are approaching each style and ensuring that you include some of the poetic devices to engage the audience. You created an excellent concrete poem titled Butterfly.  Keep up the awesome work!

 Trinity L -  Trinity, your enthusiasm for maths is excellent. It is great to always hear your insights and thoughts during our class discussion. I have also noticed the care and kindness that you show towards your peers. It is fantastic having such a friendly member in 34C.  Well done Trinity!

 

 

*5/6A -  Noah S -What a start to the Term 4 you have had. I am so proud of the positive choices you have been making and the effort you have been giving to all of your work. Keep up the amazing work!

L’Val T- You continue to step up as a leader in our school. I have been so pleased to watch you make positive choices and lead by example. The work you produce is outstanding and you consistently take on challenges. Awesome job L’Val.

 

*5/6B -   Trent W -  For a fantastic week!  You have really worked hard in showing our school values this week and focused on making good choices.  It has been wonderful to see you really working hard to complete all of the work in the classroom.

Abbey C - For working so incredibly hard in all areas of your learning.  It has been wonderful to see you confidently contribute your ideas in our classroom discussions and challenge yourself in different areas of your learning.

 

*5/6C -   Aiden C -  For being engaged in all activities this week and completing all work expectations. You have had a fabulous week and did an amazing job throughout the athletics. Well done!

Haylee G -   For your amazing efforts in all aspects of schooling. You have applied yourself to improve your reading and writing and understood the importance of character development and the point of view of different perspectives. Keep working hard!

 

*Reading Groups -Aiden C - for his brilliant participation during our reading groups. You have been making a great effort every day and have been working hard to pick up and practice the new strategies we are learning. Keep up the awesome efforts!

 

*Art with Mrs Logie -  Kara H - for listening carefully to the instructions given in the Art room and working beautifully to create your own unique pieces of work. Well done and keep up the great work!

 

*Art with Mrs Horkings -  Grace R - For showing persistence and patience during our Textiles and Threads art piece.  Grace, you are a creative and positive member of the class.  Thanks and keep up the great work!

*Music/Indonesian -  Zarliah B - For joining in the "Moving to Music" activities with so much enthusiasm.  It is lovely to see you enjoy music.

*PE -   Jayden M -  Congratulations on an awesome week in PE.  You listened carefully to instructions, you were responsible helping with equipment and you encouraged your team.  I was also very pleased with your efforts in discus, your throws were impressive!

Stella H - Well done Stella on another great week in PE!  You've won this award because you consistently try your best, you include and encourage others in new games and activities and you are a team player who always demonstrates Sportsmanship!
