PASTORAL CARE WORKER

Hello Hackham East Parents, Caregivers and Friends.

My name is Neva and I am the Pastoral Care Worker at Hackham East. I will be at the school on Tuesday and Fridays so feel to drop past the Uniform Shop and say hello or if you see me in the school yard come up and have a chat.

Before coming to Hackham East, I have been working in Community Aged Care or Some form of Aged Care Work for the past twenty years. I have love listening to the stories that the clients had to tell me and also supporting them with their day to day activities.

A little bit about me, I love hanging out with friends and family and having a great old laugh. I also work with Children outside of work hours, I love watching them grow and mature into amazing young adults. This year I have also commenced studying in the area of Pastoral Care, which will take two years in total. I love saying I have them stuck all around my kitchen. Sometimes they make you think, others just brighten, my day. This is one of my favourites.
