A great start

Year 10

It has been a pleasure to see all of our students return to school and engage in their learning. There has been a hive of activity in the last couple of weeks as the Year 10 courses commenced with particular excitement about their chosen elective subjects. We are fortunate to be able to offer subjects that allow students to explore their areas of interest including Music, Engineering Studies, PASS, Industrial Technology Timber, Child Studies and ISTEM to name a few. This year, Year 10 students will be continuing to work hard, building strong social relationships and thinking about future directions. There are so many exciting things planned for this term and we look forward to sharing this with parents/carers and students. Swimming Carnival 2023

The Swimming Carnival was a resounding success with students participating in the races and in the stands. Students made the most of their time at the Aquatopia Water Park enjoying the giant slides and the adventure aqua tower. It was a day that showcased the Cecil team spirit and sportsmanship as students cheered in their house teams and supported our competitors. Well done to all the competitors and congratulations to the students who will be representing Cecil Hills High School at the Zone Swimming Carnival. 

Thank you to our Sports Coordinator Ms Saliba, the PDHPE faculty and all the teachers for organising such a great event and assisting on the day.
