Champions of the week

Orange Group  

Week 1 

Ryan Simon: For full attendance, completing all set work, positive attitude, making others feel welcome and helping out around the school.

Ethan Carter: Outreach student for attending school and engaging with others in the classroom and the common area. 

Week 2 

Anna Newing: Positive attitude, diligence in all work tasks, making social connections and trying new things.

Matilda Holmes: For supporting peers, high standard of work, completing application for Australian Government Youth Advisory group.

Week 3 

Shyann Fitzgerald: For positive participation in group activities and completing Food Handling Certificate.

Jesse Dib: For excellence in numeracy and ICT, completing Safe@Work Certificate and helping Alisha to settle in.

Purple Group  

The purple group have got a raffle ticket system in place in the class. Students are given a raffle ticket every time they are on time for school. They can also be given tickets for displaying a positive attitude and putting in effort to their schoolwork as well as other positive qualities. The raffle is drawn once per week and the winner receives a prize. The following students are the winners so far:

Week 1 

Anika Veal: For displaying leadership qualities in volunteering to plan, organise and cook spaghetti for the student cohort.

Week 2 

Josh Cousins: For showing a great attitude to classroom learning and interacting with others. 

Week 3 

Sia Khamba: For a fantastic display of leadership empowering and organising fellow students during the taco cooking activity, showing a positive attitude during the Salvation Army excursion.
