A message from Early Stage 1
Welcome to all the new families and welcome back to existing families. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce all the Kindergarten teachers and the additional teachers that will be working with your child throughout the year.
Please see below for the email contacts of the Kindergarten teachers. Teachers endeavour to check their emails throughout the day; however, if it is urgent, or the message is after 12:30 pm, please phone the office on 67724263.

We are encouraging students to eat their lunch at our first break of the day which is at 11:10am as they are quite hungry and have more time to eat. Students can then have a snack in the ten minutes allocated for eating time at 1:40.
English
We are learning to:
- rhyme, identify syllables and identify written and spoken words
- listen to a story and discuss our favourite part of the story
Mathematics
We are learning to:
- identify curved and straight lines
- describe closed shapes and open lines
- count as high as we can using ‘touch and say’
- show a number in many different ways
Integrated Learning
We are learning to:
- understand what a family is and describe the people in our family
- understand that many Australian families originated in another country
Personal Development and Health (PDH)
Weare learning to:
- identify the 5 classroom wellbeing characters
Visual Arts
We are learning to:
- to represent our family through drawing
Reminders
- Please ensure your child’s belongings, such as jumpers and hats, are clearly labelled with their name.
- Have you downloaded the SchoolStream app? This is our main form of communication to parents about upcoming events and other important information.
- If the way your child is going home changes, please phone the school and advise.
- Please pack chopped fruit for ‘crunch and sip’ in a small, separate container, especially if your child uses a bento style box.
- Please return library books on your child’s library day:
