Principal's Report

Dear Families,

Breakfast Club made a very popular return this week. Many thanks to Carly and Kiera for helping. Eating around the table together is a lovely way for the students to start their day. Thank you to those people who have added themselves to the roster via the Skool Loop app. If you would like to volunteer, just select a date under the interview tab.

GENEROUS DONATION

At the end of last year, the Toolamba Wrens very generously donated $500 to put towards decodable books. Our focus when purchasing was to increase the number of nonfiction books we have. These students were very eager to read the new texts

SWIMMING TRIALS

On Wednesday, four of our students represented the school at the Shepparton Swimming trials. Teagan R, Rachael J, Carter B and Jake J had a great day in the pool.

SCHOOL COUNCIL

Our first meeting for the year was on Monday night where the Annual Implementation Plan and several finance policies were approved. A discussion was also had about acquiring the block adjoining the school.  Our discussions with the Department have not been very promising at this stage.

Nominations for School Council for 2023 are now open. We have one vacancy. A link to the nomination form is on the School Council page, also attached below.

SPORTING IN SCHOOLS

As usual, Ten Pin Bowling was a very popular option for Sporting in Schools. We have 30 students enrolled in this program. Sarah Maskell has and is doing a fantastic job in organising these activities for our children.

Have a great weekend,

Regards Heather
