Enrolling Your Child

For new enrolments, please go to https://www.oshclub.com.au/register/

Please be careful to select Mount Pleasant Road, Vic and not Mount Pleasant, WA. CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy.

Once your enrolment is complete it will be forwarded to the service for review. Once imported, you will be sent a confirmation email. Any questions, please feel free to contact us on the Mount Pleasant OSHClub program phone - 0427 144 945.

Sun Smart Policy

Please make sure your child has a spare sunhat with them when attending OSHClub. This does not need to be a school hat. They are welcome to keep their hat in our OSHClub hat tub or in their bag. Hats are to be work for outdoor play when the UV rating is at 3 or above.

We have Coles brand sunscreen on hand, however, children are welcome to bring their own if preferred.

Making and Doing at OSHClub

In the kitchen this week, we have been making Vegetable and Egg Dumplings. All of the children involved worked cooperatively and enthusiastically, building on their amazing cooking skills. They made and rolled dumpling dough, sliced vegetables, and contructed their own dumplings from scratch. They made plenty for themselves, their families and other children to enjoy!

We have been using Posca pens to decorate wooden off-cuts this week. This has been an ongoing project with some beautiful designs being created across the week. The senior students have led this project, experimenting with colour and pattern in sophisticated ways that have inspired the junior students to create their own unique, beautiful designs.

Recently, our slime experts have been making fluffy slime with shaving foam, glow-in-the-dark slime, and our new favourite: elastic sand (slime with coloured sand mixed in). This type of activity is so popular that we have decided to extend on the theme by creating a sensory adventure club as a way to explore a whole host of sensory play alternatives in the coming weeks.

Drop off/Pick up

Parents/ guardians are required to sign children in for Before School Care and sign out of After School Care using the service iPad. Please ensure you are coming to the room when dropping your children to Before School Care. Please do not let them walk by themselves.

Cancellation of Bookings

IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an after school care session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:15pm.

We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive to after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident and will need to be referred to police.

As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!

Online bookings for Before and After School Care sessions close 24 hours in advance.

Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.

If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.
