Achok Beith - Youth Worker / Counsellor

Each year the Year 12s take time off from their busy schedule in an attempt to relax and recharge. The Year 12 Retreat is an enriching getaway that provides a safe environment to allow a deeper social, emotional and spiritual connection. This experience has been described as ‘Life Changing’, as students gain clarity to make more meaningful decisions in their final year of school. This retreat is a recognition of the need to be with oneself for a time to think, pray and reflect on ‘who I am, what I am, where I am’ in relation to God, self, others, and society. The social and mental health benefits it provides are profound and very well needed as they embark on their last school chapter and the rest of their adult life.
