Around the Junior School

Pre-Kinder visits Windemere

Pre-Kinder had their first visit to Windemere for 2023. It was a beautiful afternoon. After having lunch in the bush tucker garden the children were free to explore the farm. We saw the ducks, chickens and the rooster. He was very noisy. The children wandered through the veggie patch looking at different vegetables and smelling various herbs. When you are four years old, dancing is a must on the platforms overlooking the dam.

Before we left, we saw Petunia the cow and watched Jo feed her some bread. She was a very friendly cow and some of us even got to pat her nose.

A fun day was had by all.

A Brand New Series from our Writer-in-Residence

Tim Harris will be hosting a book launch for his brand new series, Ratbags. at 1pm on Friday 3 March in the Junior School Glasshouse.

From award-winning bestselling author and funnyman, Tim Harris, comes this stupendously rat-tastic new series. These are the Ratbags. They have pizza, and they are NOT afraid to use it.

Let’s face it – rats are mischief. Rats are rule-breakers. Rats are ratbags. They’re all the same. All, that is, except one...

When Jigsaw runs into two of the most ratbaggy Ratbags known to rats, his orderly world is turned upside down and he pulls off one of the best pizza heists EVER!

Will his newfound pizza obsession make Jigsaw the naughtiest Ratbag yet? Or will Jigsaw figure out how to be naughty – for good?! Brace yourself for a rip-roaring ride into the world of the Ratbags.

We're certain our enthusiastic Junior School readers will love to hear that there is a new series to enjoy. Look out for more information on this exciting news soon!
