PFA News

Thank you to all the fabulous parents who helped behind the scenes and came to support the Welcome Picnic last Friday after school!  What a fabulous community event and even the weather was good to us.

Special thanks to the Ms Tanya Stafanec and the Grade 6 leaders who ran activities and stalls.  We are super proud of the children for giving up their time to make items for sale, setting up and running the stalls till the end, and for coordinating and encouraging others to take part in the numerous activities on the oval.  

We are also happy to report that our PFA profit from this event was approximately $2500 and we are on our way to topping up our PFA funds.  With the community's feedback from last year, we are working with the school on the best way to give the funds back to our school community.  

To hear more about upcoming fundraising plans for 2023, please come along to our next PFA meeting on Feb 28th at 7pm in the SLDM staffroom.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Also thank you to the wonderful mums- Monique, Kristin, Vanessa, Louise, Theresa and Tanya who dared the hot conditions and helped at Thursday's Meet and Greet sausage sizzle.  We made a profit of $431.

Also an operoo contact details form for parents to complete is coming out soon.  If you would like to opt in to share your contact details with your class for social events etc please complete and submit back by Friday March 3rd. Please note that this is not compulsory.
