Extend OSHC News

Hello everyone! :(
We've had a great week at before and after school care creating, playing and collaborating.
On Monday we started making our Mother's Day gifts which turned out really cute and thoughtful. We hope all mums and families have a wonderful day on Sunday!
We put on our science hats on Tuesday and combined a variety of materials to create our own bouncy balls! These turned out really awesome and were able to bounce just like a store-bought ball! The group can't wait to try them again, using different colours and maybe even adding some glitter!
On Wednesday we kicked off our Enrichment Program (Art focused) with bubble painting. This was so much fun and the results are amazing! Students problem solved a variety of ways to make the bubbles transfer onto their pages with vibrant colour. Have a look at our Gallery Wall over the next few weeks to see it fill-up with artwork!
We made savoury muffins on Thursday which were super yum – children were keen to make them again, next time using a combination of their favourite veggies. We used a large variety of veggies, making sure we added lots of colour – it's important to remember to eat a rainbow of healthy foods!
Thanks for an awesome week everyone!

The Superstar of the week is Callum Wilson! Callum is the Superstar of the week for demonstrating the Extend Expectations and STAR values with confidence. Callum also confidently participated in lots of activities during after care, making sure he had a go even if it was new to him. Well Done Callum!
