Moira Shire Youth Council

On Tuesday 6th March, we travelled to Redgum Retreat at Ulupna Island to attend the Moira Shire Youth Council welcome session. We got the opportunity to meet other youth council members from schools in our district. We started off our day with a bonding session, participating in activities to help to get to know the other students in the youth council. We later talked about the topic “What is leadership?” where we spoke about leadership and issues in our schools, and what being a leader is and the benefits of it. We also discussed issues that affect our community and what we would like to see happen for future generations.
