Australian International Pageant-
Indyanna-Rose Ciccone
From the 19th -22nd February, Year 8 student, Indyanna, participated in training and motivational sessions in the lead up to the crowning night of the Australian International Pageant on the 22nd February.
Indyanna shone throughout the week as indicated by the judges, the director and other participants and their families. There were 5 titles awarded; one for each age division and an overall title that is given to one person who shone and displayed outstanding qualities above everyone else. This is usually awarded to someone older and prominent within the pageant community. A women who is independent and stands by their platform and beliefs. Someone who promotes positive change and fosters this change in others. ......Indyanna was crowned with this title!
The Australian International Ambassador Queen and is the 1st teenager to ever receive the prestigious title. This was the overall title for the pageant! Amazing feedback from the judges about her being amazing in interview and for one judge; one of the best she has ever interviewed & best overall on stage!
Indyanna has already attended her first official engagement at Crown Promenade "Lankan Fest" on Sunday 25th February. At this engagement she was mingling with politicians and government representatives. She will attend many more events including National Women's Day events, Converge Festival, Anzac Day events, MelbourneCcup and possibly The International Pageant in West Virginia in the coming months just to name a few! This is a huge achievement for a 13 year old.
Indyanna isn't finished for the year yet! She has received her acceptance letters for Miss of Australia & Continents Pageant Australia which she will compete in later in the year! I hope the pageant world is ready!

Minty heads to the USA!
Year 9 student, Araminta Mason, has just returned home from a whirlwind trip to Dallas, Texas where she has been modelling. A family friend sent her photo to a modelling agent in New York and two weeks later, off she headed.
Araminta did some test shoots and was immediately offered modelling contracts with two agents, one based in New York and the other in Asia. A modelling shoot for Texas Fashion Week was an incredible opportunity to work with some talented photographers and models. The experience was a real eye opener for 'Minty' and she can't wait to go back to the US in a couple of months.
Work offers are already flooding in for New York, LA, Japan and China. It's an opportunity of a lifetime and a very exciting time and Araminta appreciates that the school have been so enthusiastic about supporting her education while she takes these opportunities.
