Our Catholic Identity

Keep Australia Beautiful - 16-22 August 2021

This year the challenge is to pledge to ditch plastic.

Why it matters:

  • Our beautiful country needs help to protect its precious biodiversity.
  • Plastic that ends up in nature can take up to 500 years to decompose and can harm animals that ingest it.

Big changes start small, so we’re calling on everyone to take on the challenge and make a pledge to ditch a plastic item for Keep Australia Beautiful Week...and beyond!

Please see attached flyer to increase awareness and commit to caring for God’s creation.  As stewards of the Earth, we have a moral obligation to care about the sustainability of the environment, for ours, and future generations.
