Year 12 Change of Preference

On December 15th, Year 12 students will receive their ATARS and VTAC will be open for 5 days for anyone wanting to change preferences for Universities or TAFE. 

During this period (15th – 20th December), many tertiary providers open their doors to have a “mini Open Day” for students to see facilities and speak with selection officers regarding different courses. This is important for students who are needing to change their preferences due to their Achieved ATAR or because they may have changed their minds. 

This is highly recommended. Research shows that students who do not make informed decisions regarding which course they are entering and where they are undertaking it, have a very low retention rate.

Getting your VCE Results and ATAR

For all students undertaking Unit 3 and 4 studies (year 11 and 12) , there are several ways to get their results. Please see the options available below.

Please note: After you get your ATAR I will be available to change preferences between Friday 15th - Wednesday 20th of December.

Please be patient and be prepared to wait (come in with friends or bring a book). Please understand that some appointments may take much longer than others depending on what has to be done so try to be a little flexible with times.

VTAC reopens 4th January between 10am - 4pm so you can change preferences.

Offers

Round 1: 16th January (9th January for International offers)

Round 2: 7th February

Other offers: February

There will be 5 rounds of offers this year! This means students can change preference in between rounds. Therefore, change of preferences will be open at specific times during January and February.

2nd round: 17 January 2018, 10am - 29 January, 4pm

3rd round: 5 February 2018, 10am - 7 February, 4pm

4th round: 13 February 2018, 10am - 14 February, 4pm

5th round: 20 February 2018, 10am - 21 February, 4pm

Accepting the offer

Offers are accepted by enrolling - Details about this willbe in the offerstatement that is sent to the students email by the Tertiary provider.
