Student Successes

Congratulations to Dylan Paull and James Hackett who represented Western Australia at the Australian National U15 Boys Hockey Championships in Sydney during the April holidays.  The team won the Bronze Medal after losing only one game during entire competition.

Interhouse Cross Country Carnival

Clear blue skies welcomed all students and staff to the 2017 Father Gaetan Pereira Cross Country.

In the spirit of the day, the House War Cries set the scene for energy, enthusiasm and good old fashion hard work and effort.

The perfect conditions saw many hotly contested races, with some exceptional times recorded

At the mid point of the Cross Country, house points saw an eight point lead to Campion, just edging out Loyola.  Once again, Koolyangarra dug deep and ran hard in all senior races to see themselves take out 1st place just ahead of Ward.

The popular Spirit Award went to Loreto who have claimed this award back to back from the Swimming Carnival. All eyes will be on the upcoming Athletics Carnival to see if both Koolyangarra and Loreto can take a clean sweep of the Carnivals.

Congratulations to all students on a fantastic day of running. Overall the energy and enthusiasm shown in both the race and the novelty events was excellent.
