13 REASONS WHY

Recently, there has been media coverage about the Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why. The series depicts a young woman who suicides after outlining 13 ‘reasons’ for her death. While some people believe the show allows authentic conversations about suicide, others believe it exposes viewers to harmful suicide messages and imagery.

The documents below, produced by Headspace and Mental First Aid Australia, may be of assistance to parents who wish to discuss the series with their children.

Year 7 - Shark Tank

Year Seven kicked off the new term with the finals of our Shark Tank presentations. One representative group from each class pitched their new products to an expert panel. The creativity and quality of presentations was outstanding. Many thanks to Mr Matthew Green, Ms Philippa Everett and Dr Lydia Kilcullen for sharing their experience and expertise with us.
